DELANEY RAMSDELL

About

Delaney Ramsdell is an artist and songwriter based in Nashville, TN. Originally from Roosevelt, Texas (population 18), her sound and songwriting is steeped in the culture of West Texas.

On her latest single release, Delaney re-introduces herself on “WHO’S GONNA!”, a lighthearted, tough song with a little bit of swagger and self assuredness that says “this is me, undeniably, with no reservations.”

“I knew I needed to make a splashy entrance to the current country landscape in a way that felt original and empowering,” Ramsdell explains, "and I hope people feel like the most badass versions of themselves when they listen to the song.”

As a songwriter, her cuts have amassed over 70 million streams to date with tracks including the Grammy-nominated “Make You Happy” (recorded by Lukas Nelson), “Thankful” (recorded by Paul Cauthen) and “East Texas and You” (recorded by Solon Holt). Her songwriting portfolio spans artists the likes of Zoe Clark, Lola Kirke, Trey Pendley, Taylor Austin Dye, Ian Harrison, Aniston Pate, and more.

Ramsdell was recently featured on Paul Cauthen's new record, “Book Of Paul” with their duet "Chain Smoking” and she’s been on the road opening for The Castellows, Paul Cauthen, Tanner Usrey, William Beckmann, and more. This summer she’ll be back on tour, performing at the Whiskey Kiss Festival in San Antonio.
